The Righteous Imam Ahmed al-Faruqi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "While I was ascending in spiritual vision, among the ranks of the awliya (saints), I saw the most luminous, most majestic, most refined, and most secure ones as those who took adherence to the Sunnah of the Prophet as the basis of their path. Indeed, the most prominent of that rank appeared even more magnificent than the most distinguished saints of other ranks."5
